Last Day to Secure Dividends from Prabhu Insurance Ahead of Book Closure
Investors must hold Prabhu Insurance shares by today to qualify for its 18% bonus and 0.9474% cash dividend.

Today marks the final trading day for investors to be eligible for dividend benefits from Prabhu Insurance Limited (NEPSE: PRIN), as the company prepares for book closure on Friday, July 18 (Shrawan 2).
To participate in the upcoming 29th Annual General Meeting (AGM) and claim dividends, shareholders must own PRIN shares by the end of today’s trading session on NEPSE. Those on record as of book closure will be entitled to the declared dividend.
The AGM is scheduled for Friday, August 8 (Shrawan 23) at 11:00 AM at the company’s head office—Prabhu Complex, Tinkune, Kathmandu.
The insurer is proposing an 18% bonus share issuance and a 0.9474% cash dividend for tax adjustment purposes. These distributions are based on the current paid-up capital. Additionally, shareholders will vote on the issuance of a 47% rights share post-bonus adjustment, along with amendments to the company’s Articles of Association and other procedural approvals, including the appointment of an auditor.
This dividend proposal follows a pattern among Nepali insurers aiming to bolster capital through rights issues after bonus distributions, in compliance with regulatory capital requirements.
