Laxmi Sunrise Bank Calls AGM to Approve 10% Bonus Share Proposal

Laxmi Sunrise Bank Ltd. (LSL) has announced that it will convene its 25th Annual General Meeting (AGM) to endorse its dividend proposal for the last fiscal year. The meeting is scheduled for Poush 14 at Agrawal Bhawan, Kamalpokhari, Kathmandu, and will begin at 11 AM.

The AGM will review and approve a proposal to distribute a 10% bonus share and a 0.53% cash dividend for tax purposes. In addition to the dividend agenda, the meeting will consider restructuring the board of directors, amending the bank’s memorandum and articles of association, and appointing auditors for the upcoming fiscal year.

For the purpose of dividend distribution and AGM eligibility, the bank has set Poush 1 as the book-closure date. Investors holding shares up to Mangsir 29 will qualify for the dividend and be eligible to participate in the AGM.

Laxmi Sunrise Bank, formed through the merger of Laxmi Bank and Sunrise Bank, has been expanding its operations across the country and strengthening its capital position. The endorsement of the dividend is expected to support shareholder confidence as the bank continues to consolidate its post-merger performance.
