Muktinath Krishi Company to Issue Rights Shares After Bonus Distribution

Muktinath Krishi Company Limited (MKCL) has announced plans to issue 60% rights shares following the distribution of 8% bonus shares from its profits of the last fiscal year. The move is part of the company’s capital expansion strategy to strengthen its balance sheet and support future growth.

The decision was made during the Board of Directors’ meeting held on Asoj 24, which approved both the dividend proposal and the rights issue plan.

To endorse these proposals, the company has scheduled its 7th Annual General Meeting (AGM) for Kartik 21 (Friday) at Silver Oak Banquet and Events Center, Gairidhara, Kathmandu, starting at 11:30 AM.

For the purpose of the AGM and dividend distribution, the book closure date has been set for Kartik 14. Accordingly, shareholders recorded until Kartik 13 will be eligible to participate in the AGM and receive the proposed dividend.

The 8% bonus and 60% rights issue together aim to enhance the company’s capital adequacy and enable further expansion in Nepal’s growing agribusiness sector.
