Nabil Bank Opens NPR 3 Billion Debenture Offering at 7% Annual Yield
Nabil Bank has opened its NPR 3 billion debenture issue offering 7% annual return over 8 years, with 40% allocated to the public.

Nabil Bank Ltd. (NABIL) has officially launched the issuance of its NPR 3 billion debenture titled “7% Nabil Debenture 2089” from July 22, 2025 (Shrawan 6). The debt instrument carries a fixed annual interest rate of 7% and has a tenure of 8 years.
Each debenture is priced at NPR 1,000, and the total issue comprises 3 million units:
60% (1.8 million units or NPR 1.8 billion) to be privately placed
40% (1.2 million units or NPR 1.2 billion) offered to the general public
Of the public tranche, 5% (60,000 units) are reserved for mutual funds.

Nepal SBI Merchant Banking Ltd. is serving as the issue and sales manager. Applications can be submitted via the C-ASBA system through participating banks and financial institutions approved by SEBON.
Credit rating agency ICRA Nepal has assigned [ICRANP] A Issuer Rating to Nabil Bank, indicating adequate safety in meeting financial obligations.
Interest payments will be made semi-annually—at the end of each half-fiscal year—after applicable taxes are deducted.
