Nepal Slashes Petrol and Diesel Prices Effective Midnight

Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has announced a reduction in fuel prices, offering relief to consumers amid fluctuating global oil markets.
According to NOC, the price of petrol has been reduced by NPR 5 per liter, while diesel has been lowered by NPR 1.30 per liter. The revised prices will come into effect from midnight tonight (July 15, 2025).
The price cut follows recent trends in the international crude market and aims to align domestic rates with global pricing adjustments. This move is expected to ease inflationary pressure and support logistics and transport businesses across the country.
Further adjustments could be made in the coming weeks based on international pricing and supply chain costs, NOC officials indicated.
