NEPSE Edges Slightly Lower in Wednesday’s Pre-Open Session
NEPSE slipped by 0.23 points in the pre-open session on Wednesday, following Tuesday’s 7.39-point gain.
The Nepal Stock Exchange posted a marginal decline in Wednesday’s pre-open session, pausing after Tuesday’s modest uptick. The NEPSE Index slipped 0.23 points to 2,613.84, following the previous day’s 7.39-point rise to 2,614.07. The Sensitive Index also edged lower, dropping 0.38 points during the early trading window.
Market participation remained relatively subdued, with 57 stocks trading a total of 6,707 shares through 166 transactions. Turnover in the pre-open session amounted to Rs 3.49 million.
Price movement was mixed: 20 stocks advanced, 32 declined, and 5 remained unchanged, reflecting a cautious tone among investors ahead of the main trading session.
