Oriental Hotel to hold its 28th AGM on Ashwin 31 with a proposal to issue rights shares in 1:0.2663 ratio to raise capital.
Oriental Hotel Limited (OHL) has announced its 28th Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held on Ashwin 31, 2082, at the Nepal Administrative Training Institute, Jawalakhel, Lalitpur, starting at 11:00 AM.
The AGM agendas include:
Endorsement of the company’s annual report.
Approval of the auditor’s report for FY 2081/82, including profit and loss, financial, and cash flow statements.
Appointment of the auditor and determination of remuneration for FY 2082/83.
Election of six board members from the promoter shareholder group and approval of an independent director.
Miscellaneous.
Among the major proposals, the company has placed an agenda to issue rights shares in the ratio of 1:0.2663 to increase its authorized and paid-up capital. Currently, the hotel’s paid-up capital stands at NPR 1.18 billion (1.18 Arba).
The rights issuance, if endorsed by shareholders and subsequently approved by regulators, is aimed at strengthening the company’s capital base and supporting its future expansion in Nepal’s hospitality sector.
