Sanima Middle Tamor Hydropower, with Vyoma Hydropower, selected to develop the Dudhkoshi-4 project under BOOT; firm to hold 6% equity in SPV.

Sanima Middle Tamor Hydropower Limited has been selected in joint venture with Vyoma Hydropower Pvt. Ltd. to develop the Dudhkoshi-4 Hydropower Project (47 MW) under the Build-Own-Operate-Transfer (BOOT) model.
According to the Department of Electricity Development (DoED) under the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation, the joint venture was finalized as per the department’s letter dated 2082/05/10.
The project will be developed, constructed, and operated through a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), in which Sanima Middle Tamor Hydropower will hold a 6% equity stake. The company’s Board of Directors, in its meeting on 2082/05/19, formally approved the decision to participate in the SPV.
The Dudhkoshi-4 project is part of Nepal’s renewable energy expansion, aimed at boosting hydropower generation capacity to meet rising domestic demand and support potential cross-border electricity trade. The project’s selection reflects growing private-sector participation in medium-sized hydropower developments under BOOT frameworks.
