Sanvi Energy Debuts at NPR 359 in NEPSE's Special Pre-Open Session
Sanvi Energy (SANVI) began trading on the Nepal Stock Exchange at NPR 359 per share during Sunday’s special pre-open session, following its listing on July 17.

Kathmandu, July 20, 2025 — Sanvi Energy Limited (ticker: SANVI) made its trading debut on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) at NPR 359 per share during Sunday’s special pre-open session.
The hydropower company was officially listed on NEPSE on Thursday, July 17 (Shrawan 1), after receiving regulatory approval. A total of 8.8 million shares were listed, including 3.79 million units allotted to the general public and 5.01 million promoter shares, as per the Securities Listing Regulation, 2075.
NEPSE had set an opening range for SANVI between NPR 120.74 and NPR 362.22, considering market norms for newly listed hydropower companies. SANVI's first transaction price landed near the upper band of this range, signaling strong investor demand.
Sanvi Energy’s listing adds to the growing number of hydropower firms gaining traction in NEPSE as retail and institutional investors seek long-term value in the sector. The company’s IPO was recently oversubscribed, reflecting investor optimism about Nepal’s power sector.
