Shine Resunga Bank Launches NPR 1 Billion Bond Issuance at 8% Annual Interest
Shine Resunga Development Bank begins public issuance of its 10-year debenture with a fixed 8% annual coupon, raising NPR 1 billion through 1 million units.

Shine Resunga Development Bank Ltd. has opened the issuance of its 10-year debenture titled “Shine Resunga Debenture” from July 16, 2025 (Ashad 32). The bank aims to raise NPR 1 billion by issuing 1 million units at a face value of NPR 1,000 per unit, with an annual fixed interest rate of 8%.
Out of the total issue, 600,000 units (NPR 600 million) will be privately placed, while 400,000 units (NPR 400 million) are allocated for public subscription. Within the public pool, 5% (20,000 units) are reserved for mutual funds.
Investors can apply for a minimum of 25 units and a maximum of 500,000 units. The earliest closing date is Shrawan 4, 2082 (July 19, 2025), and the latest by Shrawan 14, 2082 (July 29, 2025), depending on oversubscription.
NIMB Ace Capital Ltd. is the issue manager. Applications can be submitted through the C-ASBA system and the MeroShare platform.
The issue has been rated ‘ICRANP-IR BB+’ by ICRA Nepal, indicating a moderate credit risk. Interest will be paid semi-annually, after deducting applicable taxes.
