Sun Nepal Life Insurance Proposes 20.2632% Dividend for FY 2081/82
Sun Nepal Life Insurance has proposed a 20.2632% dividend for FY 2081/82, comprising bonus shares and a cash payout, subject to regulatory and AGM approval.
Sun Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited (SNLI) has proposed a total dividend of 20.2632% from its earnings for the fiscal year 2081/82, signaling a strong shareholder payout.
The proposal was approved at the company’s 150th meeting of the Board of Directors held on Poush 02. Under the proposal, shareholders will receive a 5% bonus share distribution along with a 15.2632% cash dividend, inclusive of the amount required for tax purposes. The dividend has been calculated based on the company’s paid-up capital of NPR 5.03 billion.
The proposed dividend distribution is subject to approval from the Nepal Insurance Authority and endorsement by the company’s upcoming 9th Annual General Meeting (AGM).
As of the latest trading session, Sun Nepal Life Insurance closed at NPR 511 per share, placing the proposed dividend in focus for income-seeking investors in Nepal’s insurance sector.
