Today Is the Last Day to Secure Dividends of Two Companies: Sikles Hydropower & ICFC Finance

Wednesday marks the final day for investors to secure dividends and annual general meeting (AGM) eligibility for two listed companies—Sikles Hydropower (SIKLES) and ICFC Finance.

Sikles Hydropower will close its books on Mangsir 18, while ICFC Finance will conduct a one-day book closure on Mangsir 19. Since Mangsir 18 is a public holiday on the occasion of Udhauli and Yomari Punhi, investors must own shares by today to qualify for dividend payouts and AGM participation.

Sikles Hydropower has scheduled its 20th and 21st AGMs for Mangsir 29 at Abhaya Club, Gharipatan, Pokhara. The meeting will begin at 11 AM. The AGM will vote on a proposal to distribute a 15% bonus share and 0.789% cash dividend for tax purposes. It will also consider issuing a 100% rights share after bonus distribution, amending the company’s articles, electing board members, appointing auditors, and granting authority for necessary actions related to the rights issue.

ICFC Finance will hold its 22nd AGM on the same day (Mangsir 29) at Bauddha Heritage, Kathmandu, starting at 10 AM. The company has proposed a 15.7895% cash dividend (including tax) for the fiscal year. The meeting will also discuss amending the company’s memorandums and articles, appointing auditors, and delegating authority to the board for necessary regulatory tasks.

Today’s deadline is crucial for investors seeking to secure dividend eligibility and voting rights at the respective AGMs.
