Yambaling Hydropower IPO for Sindhupalchok Locals Closes Today
Yambaling Hydropower Limited is closing its IPO for project-affected locals of Sindhupalchok today, marking the end of the application period opened on Chaitra 8.

The Initial Public Offering (IPO) of Yambaling Hydropower Limited for project-affected locals of Sindhupalchok District is closing today, 23rd Chaitra, 2082. The issue had opened earlier on 8th Chaitra.
The company has an issued capital of Rs. 70 Crores, out of which 40% (28,00,000 unit shares) will be offered to the public. From this, 10% (7,00,000 units worth Rs. 7 Crores) has been allocated specifically for locals affected by the project in Sindhupalchok.
The remaining 30% (21,00,000 units) will be issued to the general public in the upcoming phase. Of this, 10% (2,10,000 units) has already been allocated to Nepalese citizens working abroad.
For project-affected locals, the minimum application is 10 units and the maximum is 7,000 units. Similarly, for Nepalis working abroad, applications ranged from 10 to 21,000 units.
The issue is being managed by Muktinath Capital Limited.
CARE Ratings Nepal has reaffirmed the company’s issuer rating at CARE-NP BB- (Is), indicating a moderate risk in meeting financial obligations.
Yambaling Hydropower Limited operates the 7.27 MW run-of-the-river Yambaling Khola Hydropower Project in Sindhupalchok, which has been in commercial operation since February 2024 under the BOOT model.
